For more than forty years, St. Vincent’s School has educated future leaders and helped them develop strong minds, good moral character, creative abilities, and the skills to help them reach their potential.
Dedicated to academic excellence in Christian surroundings, St. Vincent’s continues to give students the building blocks necessary to become lifelong learners and good stewards of the community.
The curriculum is designed to foster success in each student:
- Phonics based reading program beginning in Kindergarten and taught through second grade
- Strong emphasis on the core curriculum of reading, writing, and mathematics
- Hands-on experiential science instruction
- Integration of the Accelerated Math program

New - St. Vincent's Fine Arts Program for Home Schoolers
St. Vincent’s will be offering a Fine Arts curriculum during the 2010-2011 school year to compliment home school instruction.
Classes offered include Art, Music, Spanish, Reading/Writing, Physical Education, and Library.
Classes will meet for forty-five minutes once a week for a semester at a time.

Our Students are Valued
St. Vincent’s students qualify for the Duke Talent Identification Program:
- Eighty-eight percent (88%) of the current 5th grade class qualified
- Seventy-eight percent (78%) of the current 6th grade class qualified
- Seventy-six percent (76%) of the current 7th grade class qualified
As a school average for the above groups, eighty percent (80%) of the St. Vincent’s students who took the Stanford Achievement Test scored high enough to qualify for the Duke TIP.
