Now enrolling at all grades for the 2010-2011 year

Thank you for your interest in St. Vincent's Cathedral School. Please call the school for an application packet or you may request this information at admissions@sves.org. You may also download an application. We encourage you to visit while school is in session so that you can see the classrooms in action. We look forward to meeting you and your family.

We are very proud of our school's rich forty-four year history and its respected reputation in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. It is a school where children, parents and staff work together to develop the mind, body and spirit.

Application

  1. New student applications are accepted in January after current student registration.
  2. Testing is required for all new students applying for Kindergarten and above.
  3. You will be given a choice of dates at the time of application.
  4. For a child to be considered for admission, the School must have received the following:
    1. Completed application forms, including teacher recommendation
    2. All previous school transcripts
    3. Birth Certificate
    4. Current, updated immunization record

2010-2011 Important Dates

Friday, January 22, 2010

The first day of returning student enrollment. This is the start of the priority placement period in which students are given placement in classes in preference to new enrollees.

Friday, January 29, 2010

Priority placement expires. New enrollees are given class placement. If a PreK through Grade 5 class reaches the maximum of 18 students, it will be closed, even to returning students who have not signed up by this date. It is necessary for all returning families to sign contracts prior to this date.

Wednesday, February 24, 2010

Financial Aid application deadline. Those families applying for financial aid should complete the financial aid application through the business office by this date. Financial aid evaluations should be completed by April 1. Please contact Dr. Mary Dickerson, Head of School, for more information. She can be reached at 817-354-7979, ext. 253.
 
Important Notes: All deposits for waitlisted students and Financial Aid applicants are refundable until the student is given a final acceptance offer and accepts or declines at that point. The School Committee reserves the right to set class size and alter policies as needed to stabilize and secure the school.
