Academics
Early Childhood Program
Children age 3 through pre-Kindergarten come together to learn through play with a student-teacher ratio of 9:1. Using a centered-based curriculum, students learn about language arts, social studies, science and math. Children also attend daily chapel. The program begins at 8 am and ends at noon. There are extended day options available if needed.
Elementary Program
Grades Kindergarten through 5th have a 18:1 student-teacher ratio. We have a full-day Kindergarten program teaching reading through the Beginnings Phonics Series. Academics are grounded in basic skills through traditional and innovative instruction. Students in Lower School attend daily chapel and children in grades 1 through 5 participate in Chapel with Choir. The school day begins at 8 am and ends at 3:15.
Middle School Program
The Middle School program continues the nurturing but academically rigorous education for which St. Vincent's is known. The curriculum is college-preparatory in nature and encompasses the full array of traditional subjects, English, History, Math, Science, and Foreign Languages (Latin and Spanish), as well as offering opportunities in Religion, Fine Arts, Music, Physical Education, and other subjects. The athletic program offers
tackle football, volleyball, basketball, soccer and baseball. Morning Chapel, community service, clubs, and social opportunities round out the student's educational experience as we prepare students to become leaders in their communities.
Educare
An after school program is available on a drop-in basis. The Educare Program is open from 3:15 to 6 pm. Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten students are led by an experienced staff member and their time consists of snack and outside/inside play. Students in Kindergarten through grade 6 meet in the Parish Hall after school for a snack, homework time and outside/inside play. This program is administered by a full-time staff member.
